This 3 day trip in August 2018 was organised by Bob Davidson as a Nigel Trewin memorial excursion. The group visited Balruddey Quarry in Fife and Tillywhandland Quarries in Angus. On the next day, they went to Tynet Burn, Scaat Craig and Spynie Quarry in Moray. The visit concluded with a visit to Cromarty on the following day
