Northern Cairngorms

This is the second day of a 4 part excursion exploring the geomorphology of the Northern Cairngorms.

The field trip will commence at 9:30am from the Coire Na Ciste car park (NH 997 074). The excursion will cover the following 3 locations:

1. Coire Na Ciste, Ryvoan overlook
2. Coire Cas overlook
3. Coire an t-Sneachda walk

As a precaution, because this is a big area, we ask that all participants have a map of the area (OS Landranger 36, Explorer OL58), a compass and a whistle.

Note that participants must make their own accommodation arrangements.

We are planning to hold a group dinner on this Saturday evening at 7:30 in the Balavil hotel in Newtonmore.
