Seagreens, St Cyrus

This is a day trip to Seagreens (just north of Milton Ness and the St Cyrus Nature Reserve – one of the 51 best geological locations identified by Scottish Geology Trust).  The excursion will be led by Ian Sharp of Equinor.

We also respectfully  ask all attendees to download and read the Pre-excursion Awareness Checklist which sets out matters important to individual and group safety so that we achieve an incident-free excursion. This document is also available on the Excursion Booklets table.

Attendees should meet at the St Cyrus Nature Reserve car park  The turn off is signposted on the A92 south of St Cyrus at Smithy Cottage just before the road crosses the River North Esk. Meeting time is 08:45 to 9:00 at the car park.  Toilets are available here.

We will have to car share from there because there is limited parking at Seagreens itself.  The excursion will start around 9:30 and should finish by 15:00.
