I graduated from Edinburgh University in Electrical & Electronic Engineering in 1974 and worked in the subsea construction industry with manned submersibles and ROVs. I was involved with project engineering for many North Sea projects as well as 2 major deep sea developments off West Africa. I was VP of HSEQ in later years of my career. I retired in 2015 and became interested in geology in 2023.

2018 Nigel Trewin Memorial Excursion
